Turn Your Cell Phone Off When Busy

Does this happen to you? You return a phone call someone made to you. When they answer, you tell them who you are and why you are calling. They may ask a few questions and the conversation proceeds.
Then all of a sudden they say, “You know, this is not a good time to talk. Could I call you back.” Surprised by that comment you probably say, “Sure.”
Here’s my advice for all those people who answer the phone and then cut the caller off. If it’s a bad time to talk, don’t answer the phone.
Just because the phone rings doesn’t mean you have to answer it. I don’t mind leaving you a voice mail, but I sure do mind you dismissing my call in the middle of it.
